Langtang Valley lies to the Northernmost and in the Himalaya’s region of Nepal which perfectly borders Tibet and Nepal. It is a valley covers mostly Tamang; the Local People who depend upon firewood and Timber. This region contains 13 Peak. All of this Peaks are between 5500m to 7300m. This region has become one of the most popular Trekking destinations for the people who have very less time. (Langtang valley Trek)

Similarly, This Region is also one of the most facilitated routes for Trekking as many new Teahouse; Lodges, restaurants, and hotels have been establish. In 2015 Langtang Village on the trail to (Langtang Valley Trek) was fully destroyed by the avalanche and almost 300 people lost there life. Due to that reason, you can find many new hotels and lodges.

Furthermore, This Trek (Langtang Valley Trek) starts from a long drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,550m/5,100ft) which takes around 7 hours. This drive will show you the geography of Nepal completely; taking you to the very low altitude and again slowly rising from Hilly to Himalayan Region of Nepal. Most importantly, On the Trail to this Langtang Valley Trek, you will see the original lifestyle of People living in the Mountain Region of Nepal.

We will also visit Kyangsi Gumba; which locates at the mid of a village which is surrounded by Mountains from all three side. This place can be the best place to spend time and create beautiful memories with your loved ones. Even more, you will see the breathtaking view of the sunrise from Tserko Ri which is the Last point of Langtang Valley Trek. The Langtang Valley Trek is programmed carefully so that you could visit the place on your short vacation and make this Trek successful without facing Altitude problems.


As you are picked from Tribhuwan International  Airpot, Kathmandu you will be accommodated in a three-star level Hotel with Bed and Breakfast.  We accommodate on the basis of twin shared room. A single room can be also accommodated upon your request. Your room will be facilitated with attached restrooms in the Kathmandu. During the Trekking premises, in some places, they only have a shared washroom and restroom. As you reach higher elevation single rooms may be difficult to manage.


During our Trek Authentic Nepali food is available and more common. You will also get international Cuisine such as Continental, Italian, Indian, etc. Breakfast-Dinner will be served as per lodge menu where we stay overnight. Lunch will be served on the trail of Next destination. During Trek, all meals will be provided whereas, only breakfast is served in Kathmandu. Sherpa Himalaya will serve you special last day dinner.

Physical Condition & Requirement

This Trek is a moderate level Trek. You will be walking for 6-7 hour a day on average. We will face the steep hill, cross steep, hilly terrain etc.  We will be heading mostly uphill where we will face an average of 4000m altitude change. You will be given acclimatization day in between the trail so that you will not face altitude sickness. If you have strong determination and hope in yourself  then this Trek will not be that difficult.

If you have done any Trek before it will be your skill but you don’t require pre-experience or any training for this Trek. If you have any health problems it would be better if you consult with a doctor before your visit and give the details to Sherpa Himalaya so that we could customize your trip as per your body requirement.

Best Time to Visit

Weather in Nepal is quite a favorable. For trekking we have two peak season; Spring & Autumn. Autumn season starts from September to November whereas Spring season starts from March to May. Beside this two season, you can visit Nepal in other months too but it is quite cold in January and rainy in the month of July & August.


Your health safety and last destination with high-quality service is our Main priority. Your guide has the authority to bring change in itinerary, stop or cancel any part of your itinerary if it is very necessary due to safety concern. However, these kinds of problem rarely arise. Our effort will be to follow our given itinerary. Weather condition, health problem or any natural disaster and flight cancellation due to bad weather in the mountain may bring change in itinerary.

Details Itinerary

Upon arrival at Nepal’s heart, the capital known as Kathmandu, via Tribhuwan International Airport, we will welcome you warmly and take you to the hotel where you will stay overnight. We will brief you shortly on your upcoming Trek with us after refreshment. We will also introduce you to your trekking guide and team guide.
we will gather to discuss in brief, the tour itinerary and other information. We will then check clothing and trekking equipment you will require during our travel.You will be taken to shop if you need to buy some gears.Overnight at hotel.
After morning breakfast we will drive out along the north-western hills of Kathmandu while enjoying the majestic views and mountainous lifestyle thoursough the terraced fields, road side settlement and remote villages. We will have lunch along the way at Trishuli riverside and reach Dhunche by evening. A short walk from there will take us to Syabrubesi. Overnight at Syabrubesi.
After breakfast we will start our trek. Our trail will start from Langtang Khola and pass thoursough forests and villages. There are several suspension bridges which we will cross and move towards Lama Hotel which will be our destination. This will be fairly easy trek and we will reach Lama Hotel by evening. Overnight at Lama Hotel.
After breakfast we will ascend along river line thoursough dense forest. Shadow of Langtang Himal will guide us during our travel. We will have to climb few stone carved stairs at some places. We will have lunch on feasible place and rest accordingly. Langtang village is above valley that we will reach after leaving the dense forest behind us. We will reach Langtang Village enjoying marvelous views of Langtang Lirung.Pass by water mills, prayer wheels, chortens, with sacred mounds of rocks with inscriptions carved on them. Overnight at Langtang Village.
After our morning tea and breakfast, we will pass thoursough Langtang village and treak along yak pastures. We will also witness the largest mani wall in Nepal, made from stone with prayers written on them. There are several wooden bridges that we will cross. Air pressure will lessen while we ascend up and reach Kyanjin Gompa just before evening. An evening walk to freshen up and visiting local village is recommended. Overnight at Kyanjin Gompa.
We will set aside this day again for acclimatization to minimize the chances of any member being affected by AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness). We will climb to Tsergo Ri which is situated at an elevation of 5033m and offers panoramic views of Himalayan vista. The climbing will te tough and challenging that will require a complete physical fitness. Overnight in Kyanjin Gompa.
Early morning breakfast and heading to Lama hotel, 5/6 hours
After breakfast we will trek down to Syabrubensi. The trek is easier than previous trek. We will have lunch at Syabrubesi and rest. After that we will explore local area and rejoice viewing the pictures we took earlier. Overnight at Syabrbesi.
After breakfast we will drive to Kathmandu. Along the way we will notice the climate getting warmer with a landscape that is different from the mountains and the hills. After reaching Kathmandu, we can take a rest or explore surrounding locality of Kathmandu and even do some souvenir shopping. Our guides will always help you with both souvenir shopping or sightseeing. Farewell dinner at night and overnight stay at Kathmandu. The town boasts a number of good accommodation facilities therefore we will spend the night in Kathmandu.
The day has come to leave this remarkable country. Our representatives will transfer you to the airport from where you’ll board a flight to your next destination. Bid farewell to this country of Himalayans with plans to visit next time. Because once is never enough!
