Trip Introduction
Langtang Valley Trek lies to the Northernmost and in the Himalaya’s region of Nepal which perfectly borders Tibet and Nepal. It is a valley that covers mostly Tamang; the Local People who depend upon firewood and Timber. This region contains 13 Peaks.
All of these Peaks are between 5500m to 7300m. This region has become one of the most popular Trekking destinations for people who have very less time. (Langtang valley Trek)
Similarly, This Region is also one of the most facilitated routes for Trekking as many new teahouses; Lodges, restaurants, and hotels have been established.
In 2015 Langtang Village on the trail to (Langtang Valley Trek) was fully destroyed by an avalanche. And almost 300 people lost their lives in this avalanche. Due to that reason, you can find many new hotels and lodges.
Furthermore, This Trek starts from a long drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,550m/5,100ft) which takes around 7 hours. This drive will show you the geography of Nepal completely. It will take you to a very low altitude and again slowly rise from the Hilly to the Himalayan Region of Nepal.
Most importantly, On the Trail to this Langtang Valley Trek, you will see the original lifestyle of People living in the Mountain Region of Nepal.
We will also visit Kyangsi Gumba. Which locates in the mid of a village that is surrounded by Mountains from all three sides. This place can be the best place to spend time and create beautiful memories with your loved ones.
Even more, you will see the breathtaking view of the sunrise from Tserko Ri. Which is the last point of this Trek. This Trek is programmed carefully so that you could visit the place on your short vacation and make this Trek successful without facing Altitude problems.

Day 01

Arrival day in Kathmandu (1300m)
On this day you will be landed at the Capital City of Nepal-Kathmandu (1300m/4265 ft). It is the only International Airport of Nepal. You will be received by Sherpa Himalaya Representative.
Then with a brief introduction you will be welcomed by flower Garland. You will be then taken to your Hotel where you can rest and freshen up to keep away Jet Lag. You will get a nearby location map from hotel reception and you can explore around.

Day 02

Drive to Khangjim(2,280m) via Syabrubesi (1,550m), (7-8 hours)
The drive to Khangjim via Syabrubesi offers a stunning 7–8 hour journey through Nepal’s hills and valleys. Starting from Kathmandu, the road passes through scenic landscapes, traditional villages, and dense forests. As you ascend from Syabrubesi to Khangjim, the views of the Himalayas become more striking, setting the tone for your Langtang adventure.

Day 03

Trek to Lama Hotel (2,380m/7,830ft) (4-5 hours)
The trek from Khangjim to Lama Hotel is a beautiful 4–5 hour journey through lush forests, river valleys, and traditional Tamang villages. The trail follows the Langtang Khola, crossing suspension bridges and winding through rhododendron and bamboo groves. Gradual ascents and peaceful surroundings make this a rewarding segment of the Langtang trek, with occasional glimpses of the snow-capped peaks.

Day 04

Trek to Langtang village (3,430m/11,253ft), 6/7 hours
Today as we finish our breakfast we will head towards Langtang Village. Langang Village is a small village between two Ridge. You will find a small river flowing from the gorge.
The trails are narrow and slope. you will encounter the domestic animals on the way with small shrubs throughout.

Day 05

Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m/12,697ft), 3-1/2 hours
Today our destination will be Kyanjin Gompa. We will head to a beautiful village which is below one of the best view point of the trail.
Kyangin Gompa is the final destination of Langtang Valley Trek.
Today we will explore Kyanjin Gompa and prepare for the short climb of Tserko Ryi.

Day 06

Hike to Kyanjin Ri(4,450m) or Tserko Ri(4,984m)
This day is a highlight of the Langtang trek, featuring an early morning hike to either Kyanjin Ri or Tserko Ri. Both peaks offer breathtaking 360° views of the Langtang Himalayas, including Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, and Yala Peak. The steep but rewarding climb takes you above the tree line, with sweeping vistas of glaciers, alpine valleys, and snow-covered ridges. It’s the perfect vantage point to soak in the raw beauty of the Langtang region.

Day 07

Trek back from Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel, 5/6 hours
The return trek from Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel takes around 5 to 6 hours, descending through the scenic Langtang Valley. The trail retraces your steps along the Langtang Khola, passing through yak pastures, pine forests, and charming Tamang villages. With a steady downhill path, the hike is easier and offers plenty of time to enjoy the changing landscapes and reflect on the journey.

Trek back to Thulo Syabru(2200m) (5-6 hours)
The trek from Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru takes about 5 to 6 hours, following a scenic route through dense forests, riverside trails, and terraced hillsides. As you descend, the path offers occasional glimpses of the Langtang peaks and passes through peaceful Tamang settlements. Thulo Syabru welcomes you with its traditional charm, cultural richness, and panoramic views of Ganesh Himal and surrounding ranges.

Drive back to Kathmandu from Thulo Syabru (7-8 hours)
The drive from Thulo Syabru to Kathmandu takes approximately 7 to 8 hours, winding through scenic hills, river valleys, and rural landscapes. As you descend from the highlands, enjoy final glimpses of the Himalayas and traditional mountain villages. The journey offers a smooth transition from the peaceful Langtang region back to the vibrant bustle of Kathmandu.

Final Departure
On your final day in Nepal, a representative from Sherpa Himalaya will meet you at your hotel to bid you a heartfelt farewell. You’ll be transferred to the airport on time for your departure flight.
As a token of gratitude, Sherpa Himalaya will present you with a traditional Buddhist scarf (Kha-tak), symbolizing peace, long life, prosperity, and harmony. You will also receive a certificate recognizing your successful completion of the Langtang Valley Trek with us.
