Trip Introduction

Tamang Heritage Trek: lies to the north of Nepal and stands nearby the border of Nepal and Tibet. This Trek is suitable for visitors who have very less time.

Similarly, Tamang Heritage Trek is the nearest Trek from the Capital. This Trail has been newly introduce and slowly it is being popular Day by Day. Our trail lies between two big mountains Ganesh Himal and Langtang Himal.

Furthermore, This Trek (Tamang Heritage Trek) does not need high physical fitness. Visitors having fitness of moderate levels can easily attend this Trek.

This Trek has been made for 9 days which includes your arrival and departure date too. Similarly, We do not need any extra day for Acclimatization as the highest elevation; we will face on this Tamang Heritage is (3300m).

Which is of Nagthali. This Tek is perfect to learn about the culture, Tradition, and lifestyle of the people living in the Mountain Region of Nepal.

Likewise, during the Tamang Heritage Trek, you will see a breathtaking view of Langtang Kerung, Jugal Himal, Langtang Lirung (7245M), Jugal Himal, Paldor Peak, Sringi Himal, and many others.

We can also see small villages of Tibet across the border from View Point. we will introduce you to many small villages of Tamang People. Here most of the people are Tamang. This region’s Tamang mostly originated from Tibet; as they shifted here after the conquer of Tibet by China.

For the reason that The citizen of Nepal is not provided to comers so in earlier days, they kept their last name as Tamang. Consequently, We will start our Trek (Tamang Heritage Trek) from Chilime; where we will reach after a long drive from Kathmandu; and our Trek will end at Syabrubesi from where we will again drive back to Kathmandu.

- Drive to Chilime or Gatlang (2,200m/7,217ft.), 150 km/ 7 hrs
- Day 03
- Chilime to Gatlang and then to Tatopani(2607m/8550 ft.), 5 hours
- Day 04
- Tatopani to Nagthali (10383 ft /3165), 6 hours
- Day 05
- Nagthali to View point- 3km back to Nagthali and to Tuman (2,345m/7,693 ft), 6 hours
- Day 06
- Trek to Syabrubesi(1500m), 5 hours
- Day 07
- Drive to Kathmandu

- Day 01
- Arrival day in Kathmandu (1300m)
  
  On this day you will be landed at the Capital City of Nepal-Kathmandu (1300m/4265 ft). It is the only International Airport of Nepal. You will be received by Sherpa Himalaya Representative.
  
  Then with a brief introduction you will be welcomed by flower Garland. You will be Taken to your Hotel where you can rest and freshen up to keep away Jet Lag. You will get a nearby location map from hotel reception and you can explore around.
  
  Overnight at KTM Hotel
- Day 02
- Drive to Chilime or Gatlang (2,200m/7,217ft.), 150 km/ 7 hrs
  
  Today will be a long day drive. We will be having drive mostly in the Hilly Region of Nepal. This Drive can provide you detail landscape of Hilly region.
  
  We will head as towards Syabrubesi from Kathmandu as we finish our breakfast. It will be around 6 hours of Trek.
  
  After a short rest at Syabrubesi we will again drive to Chilime. Chilime is a beautiful village in the gorge of big hills.
  
  You will also find a big hydro project known as Chilime hydropower.
  
  Overnight at Chilime
- Day 03
- Chilime to Gatlang and then to Tatopani(2607m/8550 ft.), 5 hours
  
  As we finish our breakfast we will head towards Tatopani. Today our trail will be mostly uphill. We will be passing through very small villages.
  
  Tatopani is a small village which is named after the natural hot spring there.
  
  Overnight at Tatopani
- Day 04
- Tatopani to Nagthali (10383 ft /3165), 6 hours
  
  As we finish our breakfast, we will slowly trek upward. Your trek will be 3-4 hours of Trek.
  
  We will be going through light dense forest and uphill climb. Nakthali is a small beautiful village over a hill.You will find some small tea houses from where you can have perfect view of Mt. Langtang.
  
  Overnight at Nakthali
- Day 05
- Nagthali to View point- 3km back to Nagthali and to Tuman (2,345m/7,693 ft), 6 hours
  
  Early morning we will head towards View point which will take around a hour. You will get breathtaking panoramic view of Langtang region mountains as well as Mountains of Tibet side. You will also see some villages of Tibet (China)
  
  As we return back from view point we will head down to Tuman. From today yur trail will be downward.
  
  After continuous descend for 5-6 hours we will reach Tuman. A beautiful villages dominated by Tamang people. You will find beautiful sculpture, art and architecture made in the houses.
  
  Overnight at Tuman
- Day 06
- Trek to Syabrubesi(1500m), 5 hours
  
  Today we will be back to the main town of Langtang Region. As previous day our trek will be descending. Exploring small villages on the way, we will make our overnight stay at Syabrubesi.

- Day 07
- Drive to Kathmandu
  
  As we finish our breakfast today we will drive back to Kathmandu. The returning path is same which we came earlier.
  
  We will reach Kathmandu by evening.

- Free Day in Kathmandu
  Today will be a freeday. You can explore around and make your shopping if needed.
  
  Today you can explore the UNESCO Heritage sites around which are within very short range.

  Today morning you Sherpa Himalaya representative will be there at your hotel for last meet. You will be dropped at airport considering airport time.
