Trip Introduction

Annapurna Circuit with Jomsom trek is the most popular trekking region in Nepal, every year visited by 70 percent of trekkers, and for good reason. the deep valleys and high mountains encircling the giant Annapurna himal embrace a wide range of peoples and terrains, from subtropical jungle to a geographic extension of the high, dry, Tibetan Plateau. The scenery is a superb mix of lush vegetation, mountain peaks, and an endlessly changing procession of people.

Annapurna Circuit with Jomsom trek is called the Marshyandi Trail. It goes upstream along the Marshyandi River. Trek through canyons and gorges and move on the north side of the Himalayas pass Manang. Which was once a kingdom. Cross Palace, people that live in the villages on this route are the Brahman, Cheetris, Newars, Tamangs, Gurungs and brought about by Hinduism and Tibetan Buddhism. You will also see the climatic and environmental distinctiveness of both the south and the north of the Himalayas.

    • Trek from Chame to Pisang (3,300m/10824feet), 5 – 6 hours

    • Trek from Pisang to Ngawal (3700m/12139 ft) 4-5 hours
    • Day 06
    • Trek from Ngawal to Manang (3,500m/11,482feet), 3-4 hours

    • Acclimatization day in Manang: hike to chongkor view point (3750m)

    • Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (4,110m/13,484feet), 3 - 4 hours

    • Arrival in kathmandu

      On this day you will be landed at the Capital City of Nepal-Kathmandu (1300m/4265 ft). It is the only International Airport of Nepal. You will be received by Sherpa Himalaya Representative.

      Then with a brief introduction you will be welcomed by flower Garland. You will be Taken to your Hotel where you can rest and freshen up to keep away Jet Lag. You will get a nearby location map from hotel reception and you can explore around.

      Overnight at KTM Hotel

    • Day 02
    • Drive from Kathmandu to Besi Sahar (1100m/3608 feet), and drive to Dharapani 8 – 10 hours

      Today we will have a long day drive. As we finish our breakfast we will head towards Dharapani via Besisahar. It will take 6 Hours to drive to besisahar by private vehicle. After short rest we will again have to drive 2 hours long offroad to reah afternoon camp Dharapani.

      This drive will be very interesting and perfect time to know more about the landscape of Nepal.

      Overnight at Dharapani

    • Day 03
    • Trek from Dharapani(1860m) to Chame (2,710m/8,891feet), 5 – 6 hours

      Today is our first Trek day. We will start our Trek from Dharapani, heading towards Chame which is elevated at altitude of 2710m.

      Your trek will be 5-6 hours long along the river side enjoying beautiful nature and mountain such as Mt. Lamjung and Mt. Annapurna

    • Day 04
    • Trek from Chame to Pisang (3,300m/10824feet), 5 – 6 hours

      After we finish our breakfast we will head towards Pisang.  The trek will be normal with slight slopes. It will take Normally 5 hours to reach Pisang.

      You will find two Pisang; Upper Pisang and Lower Pisang. The camp site will be decided by then while we get close to. Both the Pisang are nearby so, it is similar wherever we stay for camp. You can witness Mt. Annapurna II directly from Pisang

      Overnight at Pisang

    • Day 05
    • Trek from Pisang to Ngawal (3700m/12139 ft) 4-5 hours

      Today you will have a normal trek with an almost 2-hour uphill climb. As you complete the uphill climb you will be introduced to one of the oldest and traditional villages of the Annapurna Region; well known as Gyaru.

      After a short break at Gyaru with a furthermore,  1 and half hour normal trek you will reach Ngawal. One of the best locations providing you breathtaking views of Mt. Annapurna II, IV, II, Mt. Gangapurna, Mt. Tilicho, Mt. Chulu East, Far East, and Mt. Pisang.

    • Trek from Ngawal to Manang (3,500m/11,482feet), 3-4 hours

      Today we will reach a beautiful small village called Manang. Manang is also the perfect location to acclimatize your body to altitude. Today you will have a normal descend and sideways trek.

      With normal 3-4 hours of Trek, we will reach Manang.

    • Day 07
    • Acclimatization day in Manang: hike to chongkor view point (3750m)

      Today is the acclimatization day. This day is specially kept to let your body acclimatize with the altitude and the environment. You can take this day as a rest day too.

      This day is also known as hike up sleep low. Today we will hike to Chongur View Point crossing through Gangapurna Glacier. you will also encounter beautiful glacier lake.

      After we finish our exploration around we will come back to camp and be prepared for the next day.

      Overnight at Manang

    • Day 08
    • Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (4,110m/13,484feet), 3 - 4 hours

      After a day rest we will now again our Trek routine as usual. We will head ahead after having our breakfast. Today our destination is Yak Kharka.

      Yak Kharka is a small village located between two big hills. Today we will have a short Trek which usually takes 4 hours. We will be there at yak Kharka for lunch and explore around.

      Overnight at Yak kharka

    • Day 09
    • Trek from Yak kharka to Thorang High Camp(4800m/15748 ft) : 5-6 hours

      Today your Trek will be more longer then the past day. We are now closed to Thorongla Pass. Our today’s camp will be below the pass; which is also known as thorongla pass.

      It will normally Take 6-7 hours , but the trail is not much hard. We will hike normally with gentle slope and  with normal uphills.

      Overnight at Thornag High Camp

    • Trek from High Camp to Muktinath (3,800/12,467ft) via Thorong La pass (5416m/17764feet)

      Today is the day to reach upto your final & main destination of this entire Trek. Its dream of millions but only few take this encouraging trek and make their life filled with beautiful memories and adventure.

      We will trek as we finish our  breakfast. We will trek uphill until we reach Thorongla Pass (5416m). The trail is not much difficult.

      After continuous 3-4 hours climb of uphill slopes we will reach at Thorongla Pass. which is also the main attraction of Annapurna Circuit Trek. We will enjoy our successful Trek there and take some beautiful pictures capturing the memories.

      This point can let you view two big and famous trekking regions of Nepal. Annapurna Region and Mustang region.

      Now after the pass we will enter into mustang region. Today our stay will be at Muktinath (3800m). It will take normally 2 hours downhill.

      Overnight at Muktinath

       

    • Day 11
    • Trek or drive to Jomsom, 5-6 hours trek, 1 hour drive

      Now we will head for the another beautiful attraction Ghorepani Poonhill. Today our camp will be Jomsom. We will either trek or drive to Jomsom.

      It will normally take  5-6 hours by trek and 1 hour by drive. If you decide to trek down then you will visit one of the most historic village in mustang Village known as Kagbeni.

      You will witness small mud houses and old temples with beautiful tibetan lifestlye. your trek will be a worth decision going through Kagbeni.

      Overnight at Jomsom

    • Day 12
    • flight from Jomsom to Pokhara (2,700m/8,860feet)

      As we finish our Breakfast today we will have direct flight from Jomsom to Pokhara.

      Our flight will be early in the morning so, if you can freshen yourself as you reach pokhara and explore around

    • Day 13
    • Pokhara to Kathmandu Flight or Drive

      Today we will fly / Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu as planned with Company.  You will be picked by Sherpa Himalaya representative and dropped to Hotel.

      After this beautiful and adventurous Annapurna Circuit with Jomsom Trek, you can have a proper rest at your hotel.

      On timely arrival to Kathmandu, you can use the free time to explore and shop for your family or else you can also make short city tour.

    • Day 14
    • Final Departure

      Today morning you Sherpa Himalaya representative will be there at your hotel for last meet. You will be dropped at airport considering airport time.
