The Khopra Ridge is located away from the busier trails of Annapurna region but provides equally remarkable views of the Himalayas including Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Fang and Nilgiri. Another attraction of our trek is the holy Kaire Lake, which requires a little wandering away from the Kopra Ridge. We begin our trip in Kathmandu with visits to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Next day, we fly to Pokhara, drive to Syauli bazaar and begin trekking from there. We leave the main trail after Tadapani and for the next few days walk along a remote trail while staying at the community tea-houses. The 13-day trip is suitable for those who wish to enjoy the grandeur of Mt. Annapurna while also taking pleasure in the solace of a more remote trail. Complete with the unique heritage, culture, and breathtaking landscape, the trip will be well worth our time.
Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)
Upon arrival at Nepal’s heart, the capital known as Kathmandu, via Tribhuwan International Airport, we will welcome you warmly and take you to the hotel where you will stay overnight. We will brief you shortly on your upcoming Trek with us after refreshment.
Trek preparation day in Kathmandu
Today we will prepare for our Trek. We will check all the necessary gears and introduction with your Guide. You will be taken to shop If you have forgotten any gear that will be requiring in the Trek
Ghandruk to Tadapani (2,590m/8,497ft) 3-4 hours
From Ghandruk, we get to enjoy the views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli Mountains. Today we will continue upwards passing through Deurali and into the dense rhododendron forests. After trekking over a small pass we reach Tadapani where we get to enjoy awesome views of Machhapuchhre, Annapurna and Hiunchuli mountains. Overnight in Tadapani.
Tadapani to Dobato (3,350m/10,990ft): 4-5 hours
As we finish our Breakfast, we will leave the main trail. Now onward we will be trekking through the remote villages of Annapurna Region. We will be passing through dense and rich flora and fauna found in this region. We will be able to see breathtaking view of Annapurna South from Dobato. Overnight in Dobato.
Trek to Khopra Ridge (3,660m/12007): 3-4 hours
Today we will be reaching Khopra Ridge. We will climb upward until we reach Khopra. Annapurna South will be mesmerizing you as you reach Khopra.Today we will go to Khopra Ridge view point after taking some rest, We will be able to see rivers in deep valley. Amazing view of Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri and Annapurna South. Overnight in Khopra.
Rest day in Khopra Ridge: Tour of Kaire Lake (4,500m/14,763ft): 10-11 hours
As we finish our Breakfast we will head towards the Kaire Lake packing stuffs for our Lunch. You will be gifted by awesome lake and beautiful views of nearby Mountains. This Lake is considered as sacred lake by Hindu people. They have a believe that they will be free from their sins we the take bath in this lake. For those of us who do not want to walk all the way to the lake, a half day walk from Khopra can also be arranged. Overnight in Khopra Ridge.
Trek to Ulleri (2,050 m/6,725 ft): 5-6 hours
Today we will join the trail of Ghorepani. We will be descending down gradually through small villages, river and also a suspension bridge. As we reach Ghorepani we will pass through Rhododendron forest and reach Ulleri. We will stay overnight here.
Trek to Naya Pul then drive to Pokhara: 5-6 hours trek, 1 hour drive
Today we will trek down to Naya Pul. This is the last day of our Trek. As we reach Naya Pul we will take our vehicle and drive back to Pokhara. We will check-in to our hotel and take a rest. We may also take a short tour in the streets of Pokhara and just enjoy being in one of the most beautiful cities of Nepal. Overnight in Pokhara.
Sightseeing in Pokhara then fly to Kathmandu(afternoon flight)
Today we will take a tour of Pokhara; which is one of the most beautiful city of Nepal. Today you will be taken to Buddhist Stupas and also the famous caves, Mahindra Cave and Davis fall too. We will also go to Fewa Lake and as we finish our Tour we will fly back to Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu

As you are picked from Tribhuwan International Airpot, Kathmandu you will be accommodated in a three-star level Hotel with Bed and Breakfast. We accommodate on the basis of twin shared room. A single room can be also accommodated upon your request. Your room will be facilitated with attached restrooms in the Kathmandu. During the Trekking premises, in some places, they only have a shared washroom and restroom. As you reach higher elevation single rooms may be difficult to manage.
During our Trek Authentic Nepali food is available and more common. You will also get international Cuisine such as Continental, Italian, Indian, etc. Breakfast-Dinner will be served as per lodge menu where we stay overnight. Lunch will be served on the trail of Next destination. During Trek, all meals will be provided whereas, only breakfast is served in Kathmandu. Sherpa Himalaya will serve you special last day dinner.
Physical Condition & Requirement
This Trek is a moderate level Trek. You will be walking for 6-7 hour a day on average. We will face the steep hill, cross steep, hilly terrain etc. We will be heading mostly uphill where we will face an average of 4000m altitude change. You will be given acclimatization day in between the trail so that you will not face altitude sickness. If you have strong determination and hope in yourself to reach the base of Mt. Everest then this Trek will not be that difficult.
If you have done any Trek before it will be your skill but you don’t require pre-experience or any training for this Trek. If you have any health problems it would be better if you consult with a doctor before your visit and give the details to Sherpa Himalaya so that we could customize your trip as per your body requirement.
Best Time to Visit
Weather in Nepal is quite a favorable. For trekking we have two peak season; Spring & Autumn. Autumn season starts from September to November whereas Spring season starts from March to May. Beside this two season, you can visit Nepal in other months too but it is quite cold in January and rainy in the month of July & August.
Your health safety and last destination with high-quality service is our Main priority. Your guide has the authority to bring change in itinerary, stop or cancel any part of your itinerary if it is very necessary due to safety concern. However, these kinds of problem rarely arise. Our effort will be to follow our given itinerary. Weather condition, health problem or any natural disaster and flight cancellation due to bad weather in the mountain may bring change in itinerary.
