Annapurna Circuit Trek; completes in 19 Day which is the best itinerary. For the reason that, your body acclimatized and keep you safe all way of the Trek.  The highest altitude you will face during this Trek is 5416m. The highest elevation 5416m is of Thorong-la Pass. On this Annapurna Circuit Trek we accomplish this Trek through anti-clockwise route as it is shorter. This helps in proper acclimatization to your body and this direction pass is easier and safer.

and, Annapurna Circuit Trek introduce you to the great Himalayas of Nepal which is almost,  above <6000m elevation. The Mountains you encounter on the way are Annapurna Massif (Annapurna I-IV), Manaslu,  Paungda Danda,   Tilicho Peak,  Machhapuchhre,  Gangapurna, Pisang Peak, and Dhaulagiri. This Trek is a bit challenging as it passes through small obstacles such as bridge, rivers and narrow as well as wide ways. Besides that, proper hotel and motel facilities are available for meals and accommodation in this Annapurna Circuit Trek.

Annapurna Circuit Trek covers subtropical forests, many waterfalls, and gigantic cliffs, with small villages. This region populates mainly Gurung, Manang and Thakali people. Similarly, Thakali peoples dish is also consider as the best dish on Trek. This Trek can be long up to 20 days but can be minimize if travel speed is good enough, if you travel more on a vehicle or take direct flight while returning or going.

Long time back people use to Trek right from Besisahar but due to, access of proper transportation many people start this Annapurna Circuit  Trek from Dharapani(1920m/6299 ft) and some from Chame(2630m/8629 ft). The best month to Trek is October-November as everything in this circuit gets refreshed by the recent monsoon season. during this season views of mountains are very clear and skies at night are extremely visible.

Day 01:  Arrival day in Kathmandu (1300m)

Day 02: Preparation Day in Kathmandu

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Besi Sahar (1100m/3608 feet), 8 – 10 hours

Day 04: Besi Shahar to Dharapani by local jeep

Day 05:  Dharapani to Chame (2,710m/8,891feet), 5 – 6 hours

Day 06: Chame to Pisang (3,300m/10824feet), 5 – 6 hours

Day 07: Pisang to Manang (3,500m/11,482feet), 6 – 7 hours

Day 08: Acclimatization day

Day 09: Manang to Yak Kharka (4,110m/13,484feet), 3 – 4 hours

Day 10: Yak kharka to Thorang High Camp(4800m/15748 ft): 5-6 hours

Day 11: Trek to Thorong La (5416m/17764feet) to Muktinath (3,800/12,467feet

Day 12:  Trek or drive to Jomsom, 3-4 hours trek, 1-hour drive

Day 13: Jomsom to Tatopani (2,700m/8,860feet)

Day 14: Tatopani to Ghore Pani (2,750 m/ 9,020 feet), with a visit to Poon Hill, 6 – 7 hours

Day 15:  Ghore Pani to Hile, 5-6 hours

Day 16: Hile – Pokhara, 5-6 hours

Day 17: Pokhara to Kathmandu, 5-6 hours

Accommodations

As you are picked from Tribhuwan International  Airpot, Kathmandu you will be accommodated in a three-star level Hotel with Bed and Breakfast.  We accommodate on the basis of twin shared room. A single room can be also accommodated upon your request. Your room will be facilitated with attached restrooms in the Kathmandu. During the Trekking premises, in some places, they only have a shared washroom and restroom. As you reach higher elevation single rooms may be difficult to manage.

Meals

During our Trek Authentic Nepali food is available and more common. You will also get international Cuisine such as Continental, Italian, Indian, etc. Breakfast-Dinner will be served as per lodge menu where we stay overnight. Lunch will be served on the trail of Next destination. During Trek, all meals will be provided whereas, only breakfast is served in Kathmandu. Sherpa Himalaya will serve you special last day dinner.

Health Condition & Fitness Required

This Trek is a moderate level Trek. You will be walking for 6-7 hour a day on average. We will face the steep hill, cross steep, hilly terrain etc.  We will be heading mostly uphill where we will face an average of 4000m altitude change. You will be given acclimatization day in between the trail so that you will not face altitude sickness. If you have strong determination and hope in yourself to reach the base of Mt. Annapurna then this Trek will not be that difficult.

If you have done any Trek before it will be your skill but you don’t require pre-experience or any training for this Trek. If you have any health problems it would be better if you consult with a doctor before your visit and give the details to Sherpa Himalaya so that we could customize your trip as per your body requirement.

Best Time to Visit

Weather in Nepal is quite a favorable. For trekking we have two peak season; Spring & Autumn. Autumn season starts from September to November whereas Spring season starts from March to May. Beside this two season, you can visit Nepal in other months too but it is quite cold in January and rainy in the month of July & August.
