Annapurna Base Camp Trek that can be a lifetime memory of your with a manageable itinerary as you wish. The normal itinerary for this Trek is 15 day; which is the best for your health and to make your body properly acclimatized. Annapurna Base Camp Trek is almost 40km to the North of Pokhara. besides that, It is the only sanctuary where you can visualize very high mountains to the closest that your eye could see. Annapurna Base Camp Trek is fully surrounded by ring mountains which are almost above <7000m elevation and Mt. Annapurna itself has an elevation of a height of 8091m and the 14th highest mountain in the world.

similarly, Annapurna Valley covers a total native people; Gurung people and  Annapurna Base Camp Trek go right through two big mountains Mt. Hiunchuli (6441m) at left and Mt.  Machapuchare (6993m) and their glacier run through a river called Modi Khola. On the Annapurna Base Camp Trek gives you sight to many great mountains such as Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m) and Mt. Annapurna I (8091) and many others. Furthermore, this Valley covers  Tropical Jungles of Rhodendron and bamboos.

Accommodations

As you are picked from Tribhuwan International  Airpot, Kathmandu you will be accommodated in a three-star level Hotel with Bed and Breakfast.  We accommodate on the basis of twin shared room. A single room can be also accommodated upon your request. Your room will be facilitated with attached restrooms in the Kathmandu. During the Trekking premises, in some places, they only have a shared washroom and restroom. As you reach higher elevation single rooms may be difficult to manage.

Meals

During our Trek Authentic Nepali food is available and more common. You will also get international Cuisine such as Continental, Italian, Indian, etc. Breakfast-Dinner will be served as per lodge menu where we stay overnight. Lunch will be served on the trail of Next destination. During Trek, all meals will be provided whereas, only breakfast is served in Kathmandu. Sherpa Himalaya will serve you special last day dinner.

Physical Condition & Requirement

This Trek is a moderate level Trek. You will be walking for 6-7 hour a day on average. We will face the steep hill, cross steep, hilly terrain etc.  We will be heading mostly uphill where we will face an average of 4000m altitude change. You will be given acclimatization day in between the trail so that you will not face altitude sickness. If you have strong determination and hope in yourself to reach the base of Mt. Annapurna then this Trek will not be that difficult.

If you have done any Trek before it will be your skill but you don’t require pre-experience or any training for this Trek. If you have any health problems it would be better if you consult with a doctor before your visit and give the details to Sherpa Himalaya so that we could customize your trip as per your body requirement.

Best Time to Visit

Weather in Nepal is quite a favorable. For trekking we have two peak season; Spring & Autumn. Autumn season starts from September to November whereas Spring season starts from March to May. Beside this two season, you can visit Nepal in other months too but it is quite cold in January and rainy in the month of July & August.

Your Guide has the authority to bring change in itinerary, stop or cancel any part of your itinerary if it is very necessary due to safety concern. However, these kinds of problem rarely arise. Our effort will be to follow our given itinerary. Weather condition, health problem or any natural disaster and flight cancellation due to bad weather in the mountain may bring change in itinerary.

Details Itinerary

As you arrive to TIA Airport, Nepal you will be received by Sherpa Himalayan representative and you will be taken to three star hotel in Kathmandu. You will have facility of bed and breakfast.
We will take early breakfast and reach Tribhuvan International Airport’s domestic terminal. We will then fly to Pokhara. Driving is also another option available. Airplane fare will cost supplement money. We will explore Phewa Lake and lake side areas during evening. Overnight stay at a hotel in Pokhara.
After breakfast we will drive to Nayapul and Hile.then start our trek towards Ulleri (2050m/6,725 feet). We will have lunch at Hile or Tirkhedunga and Overnight stay at Ulleri.
After breakfast, we will ascend towards Ghorepani village. The name Ghorepani’s literal Nepali meaning is ‘horse-water’ because ghorepani was a popular campsite for traders. Ghorepani is a small place but it is interesting and exciting with small shops and stalls for selling local products and crafeets. The town is composed of two sediments: upper village and lower village. Ghorepani provides panoramic views of natural landscapes. Overnight in Ghorepani.
We trek towards Cheule passing via bamboo forest on our way. After a short hike the bamboo forest is over and we are in open again. At this point, we can see breathe taking view of glacial river that is below our path. The way to Cheule is up climb and technical but is easy as well. Overnight in Chuele.
On this day, we will gradually climb up the mountain until we reach Sinuwa. The village offers excellent views of the majestic Machhapuchhre along with Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandharvachuli and Gangapurna. The green vegetation disappears on our way to Sinuwa and the path widens as we enter the Annapurna sanctuary. Overnight at Sinuwa.
From Sinuwa, we will trek back towards Deurali which is not difficult trek as downhill trek is relatively easier than uphill trek. We will pass via mild vegetations and if we are lucky we will also view wild flora and fauna. Overnight in Deurali.
On this day, we will gradually climb up the mountain until we reach Annapurna base camp. The base camp offers excellent views of the majestic Machhapuchhre along with Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandharvachuli and Gangapurna. We will encounter the gateway to Macchapucchre on our way to ABC. From Macchapuchhre base camp we will further climb up until we reach ABC. ABC is among the most popular trekking destination as it offers a majestic view of surrounding Himalayas. Overnight at ABC.
From the Annapurna base camp we trek back towards Bamboo which is not difficult trek as downhill trek is relatively easier than uphill trek. Lunch will be served on the way at suitable place. Overnight in Bamboo.
Jhinu Danda is situated at 1760m which is uphill climb from Bamboo and but downhill walk via Chhomrong Khola route. This trail then descends to Jhinu Danda, where we will be resting for the night. We can also enjoy hot springs just 15-20 minute downhill walk from Jhinu Danda to soothe our aching body. Overnight in Jhinu Danda.
We will drive back to Pokhara from Siwai this day.Before drive its take around 2-3 hrs from jhinu danda to Siwai. The drive will be spectacular which will provide natural scenery view all along the way. Pokhara is a major tourist attraction so we will explore the lake city as well. We will also do some boating in the lake and buy souvenir. We will stay overnight at Pokhara.
We will start our road trip early morning or we shall fly back to Kathmandu via early flight. Flight will cost you supplement money. After reaching Kathmandu, we can take a rest or explore surrounding locality of Kathmandu and even do some souvenir shopping. Our guides will always help you with both souvenir shopping or sightseeing. Farewell dinner at night and overnight stay at Kathmandu.
If your schedule is to departure from Kathmandu we would drop you to the airport as per your schedule or you can extend your holiday if you have time.
